We are an all-volunteer fellowship.  There is no staff.  The phrase, “many hands make light work” definitely applies to TICF.  It takes all of us to be the best church God wants us to be in Tianjin. Pray about being part of a ministry team.  While you are in Tianjin, serve the Lord by providing your past experiences and take advantage to be equipped in some new skills. All teams strive to incorporate the TICF Connection – Love God, Love Others, Be Trained, Serve the Nations – in its ministry.

Intercessors
Intercessory prayer is the act of praying for other people. The Lord instructed us to pray not only for our own personal needs but to reach out and pray for others as well.  Our Intercessor team prays before the service, is available after each service for individual need and prays for members throughout the week.

Greeters
Our greeters are the “doorkeepers” and the “first impression” of TICF.  It is a wonderful face-to-face, hand-to-hand and heart-to-heart ministry while welcoming everyone and checking passports necessary to enter our fellowship.  Our greeters also support the Connection Table in the Lobby.

Music
The purpose of our music ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship. Auditions for vocalist and instrumentalist occur several times during the year.

Sound
The sound team is committed to excellence in maintaining and enhancing the quality of sound for speakers, vocalists and instrumentalists by coordinating and operating the soundboard and mixers, microphones, speakers, and other audio functions. Team members are committed to working together with the rest of the Worship Team to make the worship services of the church the best they can be for God’s glory.  Training is available.

Media
The media team is committed to excellence in creating and presenting multimedia presentations including Proclaim presentation for music lyrics and sermon presentations as well as PowerPoint announcements presentation  on monitors throughout the facility. Team members are committed to working together with the rest of the Worship Team to make the worship services of the church the best they can be for God’s glory.  Training is available.

Communication
The communication team keeps members and visitors informed and engaged about TICF.  Responsibilities include the TICF website, Facebook, weekly email newsletter, graphics, signage, and banners.

Ushers
The usher team’s ministry focuses on assisting in the seating members and visitors inside the of the main auditorium, providing care for the needs of the speaker during the service, watching for the safety of the congregation  and acting as the line of first response to medical emergencies and assisting in collecting the offering.

Counters
The counter team consists of properly trained volunteers who accurately count and record each week’s tithes and offerings after the services.

Kids
The mission of TICF Kids is to encourage children to grow in Christ by teaching Biblical truths in meaningful ways. The ministry includes Babies, Toddlers and Children grades K-5.  Volunteers are scheduled on a monthly basis so that they are able to attend worship services.

Students
Our developing middle school and high school ministry wants to provide them a safe and engaging environment where a student will be encounter Christ’s love and be challenged to grow deeper in relationship with Christ through participation in discussion groups and social gatherings.

4:32 Ministry
In Acts 4:32, the believers shared their possessions.  This group of volunteers oversees the ministry room set aside for members to share clothing, food and housing items with those in our fellowship in need.

Connection Cafe
The Connection Cafe team prepare and serve refreshments before and after the services on Sunday as well as during special events.  Cafe volunteers have the chance to reach out to others through some of the most basic needs – food, drink and fellowship with others.

 Facility
This team of volunteers has two main areas of service: cleaning and maintenance. Volunteers clean up and prepare in advance each week the facility for Sunday morning services. A separate team operates the facility regarding electricity, water, security, and internet as well as maintenance on a regular basis for HVAC units, plumbing, walls, flooring, etc.

Community Projects
As residents and followers of Jesus living in Tianjin, we all have a responsibility to help others and improve the state of the community and world that we live in. This group of volunteers organizes our fellowship efforts to be useful and contribute in a positive way to our community.

Alumni
Our fellowship has been in Tianjin for over 30 years. This group connects with former members to provide networking opportunities for prayer and ministry support in Tianjin and around the world.
